He perfected his art, as a student of renowned rawhide braiders in his province, Estanislado Comas and Don Luis Flores as well as Juan Pedro Vilches He uses materials typically found in his area. His specialty is braiding with dozens of rawhide strips, which result in unique and exclusive designs on his pieces. Each of these pieces demands at least 50 hours of manual work. He carries out his task in a workshop which he shares with his brother and one of his nephews.
